Statements/Collections:
Since
the July Board Meeting we have collected $27,000 in assessments.
Correspondence:
None
Rules:
A permit was approved by Maintenance allowing a screen house to only have windows on three sides. This was a mistake by our staff. The owner has been called and informed of this error.
Heidi Carlson (Canterbury Block 10, Lot 8) and her
daughter will be focusing on continuing the work started on this project this
season. Although now it needs more work
thanks to the storm. Heidi has also
volunteered to spearhead the project of the golf course upkeep next
spring. At this time she will probably
be following the suggestion that was submitted to the clubhouse called “Adopt a
Hole” which follows the Adopt a Highway theory. Thanks to Heidi and her daughter for volunteering for this
project.
There were 7 registrations that went through since the last board meeting.
A
$100 fine that was issued to an owner in Banbury has been collected.
The electrical upgrade has finally been completed and has been inspected by the electrical inspector. The next upgrade which should be starting shortly after the water is turned off needs to be determined. The original idea was to continue on with Derbytown, but it looks like we should switch to parts of Canterbury due to need.
Ask vern about this
During
the week of August 1st there was an electrical surge caused by a
wire break at Lots L185, 186 and 187.
Most appliances in the two trailers affected were blown out. It has been determined the break was caused
by nicks from shoveling while fixing a broken water line. I have talked to both owners and have
contacted the insurance company regarding this. This is pending.
Tim
Modl is still out indefinitely on a medical leave.

McCormick (Banbury Block 3, Lot 25) and Caron Grussendorf (Banbury Block 3, Lot
26) have asked to be able to set up a table at the flea market on Labor Day
asking for donations to replace the trees around Robin Hood. I thought this was a great idea and have
encouraged them to do so.
